Summary

This study tested the safety of an experimental Lyme disease vaccine called VLA15 in healthy children ages 5-17. Over 3,500 participants received either the vaccine or a placebo saltwater shot over two years. Researchers compared side effects between groups to see if the vaccine is safe for this age group, which is most affected by Lyme disease.
