New pill tested for serious mental health conditions

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new extended-release pill called LY03020 to see if it's safe and how it moves through the body. It will involve 40 Chinese adults, including both healthy volunteers and people with stable schizophrenia. Researchers will give different doses to small groups and compare results to a placebo (inactive pill) to check for side effects and measure drug levels in the blood.
