New hope for hepatitis b: experimental drug LW231 enters human trials

Summary

This study tests a new medicine called LW231 in people with chronic hepatitis B. The goal is to see if it is safe and can lower the amount of virus in the blood. Some participants will get LW231 alone, and others will get it together with standard antiviral pills. The study involves about 270 adults and is currently recruiting.
