Light cap aims to shield Babies' brains after heart stops

Summary
This study tests a special light cap (LUCID) for infants with heart disease who have a cardiac arrest in the hospital. The cap delivers near-infrared light to the brain to reduce injury from restored blood flow. About 30 babies will be enrolled to check if the device is safe and easy to use, and to see if it helps improve brain function over two years.
