New hope for brain tumor patients: radioactive drug targets tough meningiomas

Summary

This study tests a radioactive drug called Lutathera for people with a type of brain tumor (meningioma) that cannot be surgically removed and has continued to grow after radiation therapy. The drug is given through a vein and aims to kill tumor cells. The goal is to see if it can stop the tumor from growing for at least six months. About 42 adults with grade 1, 2, or 3 meningioma will participate.
