Lupus skin treatment trial halted after low enrollment

Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called PF-06823859 for adults with lupus who have active skin symptoms. The goal was to see if the drug could reduce skin inflammation and improve symptoms compared to a placebo. The trial was terminated early after enrolling only 8 participants, far fewer than the planned 48.
