New hope for lupus patients: experimental drug targets kidney damage

Summary

This study is testing a new oral medication called IPG11406 for people with lupus nephritis, a kidney complication of lupus. The main goal is to check if the drug is safe and tolerable, and to see early signs it might help reduce kidney damage. About 36 adults aged 18 to 70 with active lupus nephritis will take part.
