Head-to-Head: which lupus drug protects kidneys better?
NCT ID NCT07031674
Summary
This study looked back at medical records to compare two existing drugs, telitacicept and belimumab, for treating lupus nephritis, a serious kidney complication of lupus. It involved 56 adults who had already taken one of the drugs for at least 12 weeks. The goal was to see which medication was more effective at controlling kidney damage and had fewer side effects, without giving any new treatments to participants.
