Doctors seek safer breathing methods for chest surgery patients

NCT ID NCT07353788

Summary

Researchers will observe 300 adults undergoing chest surgery where one lung is temporarily taken off the breathing machine. The goal is to see if specific breathing machine pressures and patterns are linked to fewer lung problems after surgery.
