Doctors use imaging to see inside lungs of critically ill patients
NCT ID NCT07090460
Summary
This study aims to better understand how air fills the lungs of patients with severe lung failure (ARDS) who are on breathing machines. Researchers will use a special imaging belt to measure the timing and distribution of air in each lung. The goal is to gather information that might help doctors adjust ventilator settings more precisely in the future.
