Teens' lungs scanned for vape damage in First-of-Its-Kind study
NCT ID NCT06335329
First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at whether lung ultrasound can detect early signs of lung changes in teens who vape, even if they feel fine. Researchers also wanted to see if showing teens their own lung images would make them more likely to quit. About 90 adolescents aged 12–18 took part, including both vapers and non-vapers.
