NCT ID NCT07446803

First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study will compare a standard 12-point lung ultrasound with a shorter 6-point version in 20 intensive care patients with acute respiratory failure. The goal is to see if the shorter test gives the same information about lung function and patient outcomes. Participants will have both ultrasounds and be monitored for breathing support needs and survival.
