Summary
This study aims to understand which breathing machine setting works better during chest physical therapy for ICU patients on ventilators. Researchers will compare two common ventilator modes while patients receive standard chest compression therapy to help clear mucus from their lungs. The study involves 40 adult ICU patients in France who are on ventilators and have excessive mucus production.
