Race to stop lung scarring before it starts in High-Risk families

Summary
This study is testing whether a drug called nerandomilast can prevent or slow down lung scarring in people who are at high risk because they have a family history of pulmonary fibrosis and early signs of lung changes on a scan. Participants, who are 40 or older, will take either the study drug or a placebo pill twice a day for 2-3 years. Doctors will track lung health with scans and breathing tests to see if the drug helps keep the lungs from getting worse.
