Can breathing exercises strengthen lungs scarred by disease?
NCT ID NCT07205627
Summary
This study is testing if an 8-week supervised exercise and breathing program can help people with interstitial lung disease (ILD), which causes lung scarring and shortness of breath. Researchers will measure if the program strengthens the main breathing muscle (the diaphragm) and improves patients' ability to exercise and their quality of life. The goal is to gather evidence to improve standard care for this condition.
