Summary
This study compares two methods of inflating the lungs during laparoscopic surgery in the head-down position. One method uses a standard fixed pressure, while the other calculates a personalized pressure based on measurements from a thin tube placed in the esophagus. The goal is to see which approach improves lung function and reduces complications. The trial involves 90 adults undergoing elective surgery.
