Doctors probe hidden lung recovery after Artery-Opening procedure
NCT ID NCT05719415
Summary
This study aims to understand how a procedure called balloon pulmonary angioplasty (BPA) helps patients with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH). Researchers will measure how much of the lung's tiny, functional blood vessels are restored immediately after the procedure in about 40 patients. The goal is to learn more about how the treatment works to improve blood flow and patient health.
