Healthy volunteers help unlock lung penetration of new antibiotic combo
NCT ID NCT06916156
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested a new antibiotic combination (MEM-ANT3310) in 26 healthy adults to see how much of the drug reaches the lungs. Participants received multiple doses through an IV and then had a lung wash (bronchoscopy) to measure drug levels. The goal was to understand the drug's behavior in the body, not to treat any disease. Results will help design future studies for serious lung infections.
