Doctors test simpler way to monitor lungs during complex surgery
NCT ID NCT07381517
Summary
This study aims to compare different methods of measuring how well the lungs are getting oxygen during single-lung surgery. Researchers will observe 51 adults having planned chest surgery, comparing traditional blood tests with newer, less invasive monitoring methods. The goal is to understand if simpler monitoring tools work as well as current standard methods during this specialized surgery.
