Scientists test new 'Gas' MRI to see inside healthy lungs

NCT ID NCT07305532

Summary

This study aims to develop new hardware and software for taking high-quality MRI pictures of the lungs. Healthy volunteers will inhale a safe, inert gas during an MRI scan to help researchers improve the imaging technology. The goal is to create better tools for measuring lung function and ventilation, which could help diagnose and monitor lung diseases in the future.
