Scientists search for clues to deadly lung complication after brain bleeds

Summary
This study aims to understand why a serious type of brain bleed often leads to dangerous lung injury. Researchers will measure levels of a substance called hyaluronic acid in the lungs and blood of 24 patients who have recently had this type of stroke. The goal is to learn more about the cause of this complication to help guide future treatments.
