Summary
This study tested which of two different three-drug antibiotic combinations was better at clearing a specific type of hard-to-treat lung infection. It involved 92 adults in France who had a confirmed Mycobacterium xenopi infection. The goal was to see which regimen helped patients stop spreading the bacteria in their sputum within six months.
