Summary
This study aims to understand why some people are more prone to lung infections than others. Researchers will collect fluid and tissue samples from the lungs and noses of 550 healthy volunteers and people with a history of infections. By comparing these samples, they hope to find differences in immune function that could explain susceptibility.
