Scientists hunt for clues in scarred lungs
NCT ID NCT07373288
Summary
This study aims to find new biological markers in lung tissue and blood that could help doctors understand how pulmonary fibrosis (lung scarring) gets worse. Researchers will analyze tissue samples from 80 adults with suspected lung scarring, comparing different biopsy methods. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to better future tests or treatments, but this study itself does not test a new therapy.
