Researchers test which score best predicts fate for scarred lungs
NCT ID NCT07169253
Summary
This study looked back at medical records to see which of three scoring systems best predicts how long patients with different types of progressive lung scarring might live. Researchers analyzed data from 143 adults with specific lung diseases to compare the accuracy of the GAP, ILD-GAP, and CPI scoring models. The goal was to help doctors better understand disease progression and improve patient care planning.
