Summary

This study looks at 88 children having surgery to see which breathing machine method—Volume Control or Pressure-Regulated Volume Control—better prevents lung collapse. Researchers will use lung ultrasound and electrical impedance tomography to measure any collapse. The goal is to find the safest way to ventilate children during anesthesia.
