New hope for tough lung cancer: testing combo therapy when first treatments fail

NCT ID NCT07388875

Summary

This study is testing a new two-drug combination for people with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer whose cancer has gotten worse after their first treatment. The treatment combines an intravenous drug that targets cancer cells with a daily pill that aims to cut off the tumor's blood supply. Researchers want to see if this combination can shrink tumors and help patients live longer.
