New hope for Tough-to-Treat lung cancer: experimental combo enters final testing phase

Summary
This study is testing whether a new combination of two drugs (IN10018 and D-1553) works better than standard first-line treatment for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has a specific genetic change called KRAS G12C. About 400 participants with this specific cancer type who haven't had prior treatment for their advanced disease will be randomly assigned to receive either the new drug combination or the current standard therapy. The main goal is to see if the new combination can delay cancer growth longer than standard care.
