Summary

This study is testing whether adding a second drug (bevacizumab) to a standard immunotherapy (atezolizumab) works better for people with a specific type of advanced lung cancer. It involves 206 patients in Italy who have not had chemotherapy before and whose tumors test positive for a marker called PD-L1. The goal is to see if the two-drug combination helps patients live longer or keeps the cancer from growing for a longer time compared to the single drug alone.
