New drug duo tested for Tough-to-Treat lung cancer

NCT ID NCT05001971

Summary

This study tested whether combining two drugs, anlotinib and penpulimab, could help control small cell lung cancer in patients whose initial platinum-based chemotherapy stopped working. It involved 65 participants who received both drugs to see if the combination could slow cancer growth and extend life. The goal was to see if this approach was safe and more effective than previous options for this difficult-to-treat cancer.
