Three-Pronged attack on advanced lung cancer shows promise

Summary

This study is testing a combination of three drugs (amivantamab, lazertinib, and pemetrexed) as the first treatment for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has spread and has specific genetic changes (EGFR mutations). The goal is to see if this powerful combination can safely keep the cancer from growing for a longer time compared to older treatments. About 54 adults who haven't had treatment for their advanced cancer will receive the drugs until the cancer worsens or side effects become too severe.
