New two-part attack aims to shrink lung tumors before surgeons remove them
NCT ID NCT07264647
Summary
This trial is testing a treatment plan for stage III non-small cell lung cancer. It combines chemotherapy and immunotherapy to try to shrink tumors before surgery. The goal is to see if this approach helps more patients have successful, complete tumor removal. After surgery, patients continue with immunotherapy for one year to try to keep the cancer from coming back.
