Major trial tests new weapon against advanced lung cancer

Summary
This large, late-stage study is testing whether adding a new immunotherapy drug (nogapendekin alfa inbakicept) to standard first-line treatments can better control advanced non-small cell lung cancer. It is enrolling over 1,500 adults who have not yet received treatment for their advanced or metastatic cancer. The goal is to see if this combination can help patients live longer without their cancer getting worse.
