Summary
This study is comparing two treatment strategies for adults with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has a high level of a specific protein (PD-L1). It tests whether starting with a combination of immunotherapy (pembrolizumab) and chemotherapy is better at delaying cancer growth than using immunotherapy alone as the first treatment. The goal is to see if the combination can help patients live longer without their cancer getting worse.
