New shot could replace IV drips for advanced lung cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT06212752

Summary

This study is testing if a new under-the-skin injection of the cancer drug pembrolizumab works as well and is as safe as the standard intravenous (IV) infusion. It is for Japanese adults with advanced non-small cell lung cancer who are receiving it along with chemotherapy as their first treatment. The main goal is to see if the injection method delivers a similar amount of drug into the body as the IV method.
