Doctors grow Patients' own Cancer-Fighting cells in new lung cancer trial
NCT ID NCT06473961
Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety and initial effectiveness of a personalized cell therapy called GC101 TIL for adults with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Doctors take a patient's own tumor-fighting immune cells, grow large numbers of them in a lab, and then infuse them back into the patient to attack the cancer. The trial is for people whose cancer has continued to grow despite trying standard treatments like targeted therapy and chemotherapy.
