Scientists hunt hidden genetic clues in lung cancer patients who Didn't respond to treatment

NCT ID NCT07179445

Summary

This study looks back at 300 patients with a type of lung cancer who received immunotherapy before surgery but still had cancer cells left after the operation. Researchers will analyze the leftover tumor tissue using advanced genetic testing to search for hidden genetic reasons why the treatment didn't work completely. The goal is to learn which patients might benefit from different follow-up treatments after surgery.
