Radiation blitz tested to halt spread of advanced lung cancer
NCT ID NCT05278052
Summary
This study is for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to only a few other body sites (1-5 spots). It compares the current standard maintenance drug therapy alone against that same drug therapy plus targeted, high-dose radiation to all the cancer spots. The goal is to see if adding this focused radiation helps patients live longer and keeps the cancer under control for a longer time.
