New hope for lung cancer patients with scarred lungs

Summary
This study aims to find safer and more effective treatments for people with advanced lung cancer who also have a separate lung-scarring disease (ILD). It will test a standard chemotherapy combination for patients receiving their first treatment, and test an immunotherapy drug for patients needing a second treatment. The main goals are to see if the cancer is controlled and to carefully monitor the safety of these drugs in people with fragile lungs.
