New blood test could spot more lung cancer gene mutations
NCT ID NCT06595498
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study checks if a new, highly sensitive blood test (Plasma-SeqSensei) can find more EGFR gene mutations in people with advanced lung cancer than the current standard test. About 130 patients who already had a standard test will give a blood sample for the new test. The goal is to see if the new test is better at detecting mutations, which could help guide treatment.
