Researchers analyze scans to better predict lung cancer outcomes
NCT ID NCT07066813
Summary
This study looks back at medical records and CT scans from 500 lung cancer patients whose tumors contain air-filled cysts. Researchers want to determine the best way to measure these unusual tumors to more accurately predict patient survival and guide treatment decisions. The study uses artificial intelligence to analyze both scan images and tissue samples, but does not test any new treatments.
