Brain cancer fight: testing combo therapy for tough lung cancer cases

NCT ID NCT05746481

Summary

This study tested whether a combination of two immunotherapy drugs, tiragolumab and atezolizumab, could help control non-small cell lung cancer that had spread to the brain. It was for patients whose brain tumors were not yet causing symptoms and had not been treated. The main goal was to see if this drug combo could delay or prevent the need for brain radiation therapy. The trial was terminated early after enrolling only 3 participants.
