Blood test could give early warning if lung cancer treatment is working
NCT ID NCT03926260
Summary
This study tested whether changes in a blood test called ctDNA could predict how well treatment works for metastatic lung cancer. Researchers followed 100 patients to see if blood test results at 3 weeks matched later scan results. The goal was to find a faster way to know if a treatment is effective, without waiting for scans.
