Summary
This study looked at three ways to take a small sample of lung tissue to diagnose interstitial lung diseases (ILD). The methods were forceps biopsy, cryobiopsy, and thoracoscopic biopsy. Researchers wanted to find out which technique gives the most accurate diagnosis and has the fewest side effects. The study included 60 adults with ILD and compared how well each method worked and how safe it was.
