Freezing catheters tested to make lung procedures safer
NCT ID NCT05948904
Summary
This study aims to develop a better, standardized technique for using freezing catheters to take lung tissue samples and treat lung lesions. Researchers will test the procedure on donated human lungs to see if it can be a safer, less invasive alternative to current surgical methods. The goal is to gather the data needed to improve future patient care by reducing risks like air leaks and infections.
