New filler matches top brand for smile lines
NCT ID NCT06509477
First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tested a new hyaluronic acid filler called Lunaphil Ultra against the well-known Juvederm Ultra 4 for treating smile lines (nasolabial folds). 104 adults with moderate to severe lines received one filler on each side of the face, and neither they nor the doctors knew which side got which. Both fillers worked equally well at reducing wrinkle severity, with similar safety. The new filler offers an alternative option for cosmetic wrinkle treatment.
