First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at whether two types of hands-on therapy—instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization and vibration massage—can help people with a herniated (slipped) disc feel less pain, move better, and be less afraid of movement. Researchers will measure pain, disability, and fear of movement in 45 adults aged 30 to 60 who have had pain for at least 3 months. The goal is to find a non-surgical way to improve daily life.
