Soothing sounds: can a classic lullaby calm babies in the hospital?
NCT ID NCT07468682
Summary
This study looked at whether playing Brahms' lullaby during sponge baths could help newborns in the intensive care unit feel more comfortable and keep their heart rate and breathing stable. Researchers compared 70 healthy, full-term newborns who got a bath with the music to those who got a bath without it. They measured the babies' comfort levels and vital signs before and after the bath to see if the music made a difference.
