First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at whether playing lullabies or white noise during breastfeeding helps newborns feed better. 160 healthy, full-term babies were split into four groups: female voice lullaby, male voice lullaby, white noise, or no sound. Researchers used a standard scale to measure breastfeeding success. The goal was to see if these sounds make breastfeeding easier for newborns.
