NCT ID NCT04856488
Summary
This study is testing whether giving patients iodine drops (Lugol's solution) for 10 days before thyroid surgery can reduce common complications. The goal is to see if this simple preoperative treatment lowers the risk of nerve damage affecting the voice and problems with calcium regulation after surgery.
